专利说明:
Description Introduction [0001] There is a wide variety of multifunctional pocket knives, most of which are characterized by the following arrangement: they consist of a handle formed of two parallel flanks integral with each other by connecting pins and providing storage space for holding one or more tools or instruments, knife blade, screwdriver, awl, can opener, etc. These tools or instruments are generally mounted pivoting about the connecting pins, developing along the longitudinal axis of said pocket knife so as to extend said handle by the tool whose function is required (cut, saw, screw, etc.). This type of pocket knife has diversified to infinity over the years and now incorporates tools and instruments ever more numerous and more complex. [0003] The cross-blade scissors pivoting about a central axis are among the oldest cutting instruments, such objects dating back to the first century of our era. From the ninth century, however, in Asia as in Europe, scissors are generally used in bronze, later in steel, the two blades were mounted on a spring in an arc. They were used primarily for mowing sheep. The so-called pocket knives appeared later, originally provided with a single cutting blade falling in a housing arranged in the handle; therefore, the blade can only be at best equal to the handle length, but usually slightly less than the latter. As they evolved, pocket knives became more and more complex, incorporating several cutting blades and finally other tools or instruments such as a screwdriver, a can opener, a corkscrew or a blade of saw for example. At some point, the idea has come to incorporate also a pair of scissors. US D 658 964 S describes such an object, representative of the many variants currently in the trade. The pair of scissors is composed of 2 crossed blades pivoting about an axis arranged generally at mid-length. The actual cutting part is thus reduced and, in most models encountered, barely exceeds one third of the blade. One of said blades is pivotally mounted on a connecting axis of the pocket knife, the other only around the median axis of the pair, its non-cutting end (branch) remaining free. Such a pair of chisels further requires the presence of a bending spring disposed between the non-cutting ends (branches) of the blades and which contributes to the opening thereof during deployment of the pair of scissors. At assembly, it is a minimum of 4 precision machined parts, the most delicate of them being the spring: the latter easily leaves the cutting plane during handling, or even twists or breaks and renders the pair of scissors inoperative. As regards the actual cut, the latter is therefore very short, 2 to 3 cm maximum for a common pocket knife. The present invention specifically aims to effectively overcome these disadvantages, weaknesses or disadvantages in particular by proposing a pair of scissors having a reduced number of component parts, hence an easier assembly, greater robustness and increased efficiency . The invention [0009] The invention consists of a multifunctional pocket knife consisting of a handle formed of two integral flanks providing at least one storage space for folding tools each pivoting about the connecting pins arranged at each end of the sleeve and comprising a pair of scissors consisting of two flat blades each having a cutting edge and both pivoting about a same connecting axis as mentioned above, the pivoting end of each of said blades cooperating with a spring of recall, said spring ensuring the maintenance, if not the blocking, of one of the two blades in the open active position respectively inactive closed, while exerting a sufficient elastic force to keep apart the two blades, once the pair of scissors deployed. The invention also relates to a pair of scissors intended to be combined with or incorporated in a pocket knife, consisting of two planar blades each having a cutting edge and pivoting both around the same axis of connection disposed at one end of the handle of said knife, the pivoting end of each of said blades cooperating with a return spring, said spring ensuring the holding, if not the blocking, of one of the two blades in active open position respectively inactive closed, all by exerting an elastic force sufficient to maintain apart the two blades once the pair of scissors deployed. The invention is defined in the claims listed above. Drawings [0012] Fig. 1 is a top view of the pocket knife whose scissors is deployed. Definitions [0013] The term "multifunctional" refers to a pocket knife with common tools or instruments such as knife blade, saw blade, screwdriver, can opener, awl, corkscrew for example, in addition to the pair of scissors object of the invention. As a general rule, in order not to overload or complicate the pocket knife beyond the reasonable, one of the tools least used by the pair of scissors of the invention will be substituted in an existing model. The term "return spring" is used to define the spring which ensures the locking of a tool or foldable instrument in closed position, respectively open during use, the knife blade or screwdriver for example. Such a spring acts essentially by cooperating with the pivoting end of the tool or instrument considered. In the context of the invention, the particularity consists in having only one co-operating spring, when required, with the pivoting end of each blade of the pair of scissors. In a particular embodiment of the invention, the trick is also to use the same return spring for another tool, the saw blade for example, in addition to said pair of scissors. This results in a significant gain in terms of manufacturing: one-piece assembly and less handling. The term "flat" defines, by extension of its general definition (a flat surface on a cylindrical part) an area disposed opposite the cutting edge of each blade, area on which the pressure will be exerted bring said blades closer to one another during the cutting operation. This flat can be achieved during the manufacture of said blades or later, for example by abrasion and its contact surface can be both smooth and rough. Leterme "gripping member" defines a tab as generally present on the various tools or conventional instruments of a pocket knife, knife blade, saw, screwdriver, etc., the feature of the invention consisting of a organ adjacent to a space through the body of the blade emerging from the storage space, a tab according to the terms customary in the art of cutlery. Particular Embodiments of the Invention [0018] As illustrated in FIG. 1, 2 and 3 in particular, the pocket knife 1 according to the invention consists of a handle 2 formed of two integral flanks 3, 3 'providing at least one storage space 4 for tools each pivoting about the connection axes 5, 5 'disposed at each end of the handle 2. The bottom of the storage space 4 consists of a return spring 7 duly fixed between the two sides 3, 3'. The pair of scissors 8 consists of two blades 9, 9 'both pivoting about the same connecting axis 5, each through its pivoting end 11, 11' respectively. Each of said blades has a cutting edge 10, respectively 10 'along its entire length. On the opposite, non-cutting edge, each of the blades 9, 9 'has a flat portion 12, respectively 12'; these flats face each other in the closed position. In general, the flat portion 12, 12 'is located on the first half of the corresponding blade, starting from its pivoting end 11, respectively 11', sometimes even at the first third of the blade: this location, reserved for the exercise of manual pressure (fingers) during the cutting operation, will in fact be a compromise between the possibility of exerting sufficient force or cutting pressure and the need to ensure good control the pair of chisels in action, otherwise the knife itself. The interest of the invention lies inter alia in the fact that in one gesture only, approximation or closure of the two blades 9 and 9 ', one makes a cut equivalent to the entire length of said blades, and this without have to deploy extreme force, whereas for a pair of crossed-blade scissors (see eg US D658,964 S) the cut can not exceed half a blade, in practice 2 to 3 cm at best . In another particular embodiment, the blade portion 9 emerging from the storage space 4 is provided with a nib-type gripping member 13 adjacent to a space 14 passing through the body of said blade from one side to another. part: this configuration is particularly favorable to the gripping of the instrument for its deployment, by a person as right handed as left handed. According to a particular embodiment of the invention, the opening or spacing of the blades 9 and 9 'is controlled by means of a pin 15 disposed on the inner face of the blade 9, in the vicinity of its pivoting end 11 (Figure 5); this pin 15 cooperates with a recess 16 arranged opposite the latter through the pivoting end 11 'of the blade 9'. The stroke of the pin 15 in the space 16 determines the maximum spacing of the blades 9 and 9 'in the deployed position; it is generally of the order of 25 to 30 or even 45 degrees depending on the case. The implementation of a pocket knife according to the invention is as follows: the knife in hand, the user grasps the terminal portion of the blade 9 at the level of the tab 13 and then deploys the pair of blades 9, 9 'up to maximum opening. Once this stage is reached, the pivoting end 11 of the blade 9 abuts against the end portion 17 of the return spring 7, which bears on a dedicated location of said pivoting end 11 (see FIG 7): as an option said blade can also be secured in this position. The opposite chisel blade 9 'is thereby driven in a similar movement, by means of the pin 15 which firstly traverses the space (recess) 16 to abut against its opposite end in the end race and drive in turn the blade 9 'for maximum deployment. The resistance or friction exerted by the various parts actuated during this operation furthermore that said blade 9 'knows only a partial deployment, compared to that of the blade 9, the scissors 8 remaining open for the cutting operation (see Fig. 7). The arrangement of the end end 1Γ of said blade 9 'is such that during the deployment phase described above, it is permanently supported on the end portion 17 of the return spring 7 mentioned above. The return spring 7 thereby permanently exerts a back pressure on the blade 9 'by means of its pivoting end 11'. At its progressive approach of the blade 9, in other words during the cutting operation, generated by the pressure exerted by the user on the flats 12 and 12 ', the latter returns said blade 9' to the open position ( active) once released the pressure exerted manually on the flat 12 '. The user then grasps the pair of scissors at the flats 12, 12 'by means of the thumb of the index more particularly, a portion of the handle 2 still remaining in contact with the palm of the hand and fingers not solicited. The cut is effected by a pressure exerted simultaneously on each of the flats 12 and 12 '(see Fig. 6).
